BALDRIGE: A Global Approach for a Global Economy addresses a key issue facing the CEOs of American business. This issue sheet

- cites the results of a CEO survey that identifies globalization issues as a primary concern,

- discusses how the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence can be helpful in addressing globalization, and

- describes how two 1999 Baldrige Award recipients, STMicroelectronics – Region Americas and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, used the Criteria to address their globalization issues.
